sunset at John o'Groats

Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

To my local club meet, with an eclectic membership!  A 92 year old member showed up and shared some photos of him in his brand new ‘53 TR2.  Took him for a drive in mine and he had a big smile the whole time.

Is that a genuine convertible Rolls or an aftermarket conversion Dan?

Hi,

we had a holiday here today at Germany,

and a new "old vehicle meeting"  "on the Schwäbische Alb" (hilly area at south Germany).

What a good weather and what a big success for the event, many visitors had to stay out with their cars!

We (4 TRs) had a great time to drive up on the Schwäbische Alb and have been in on the event.

Lots of tractors and Unimogs have also been there because of the forest and farming character of the landscape.

Some of you may know the MB Unimog (no bargain), I love them!

My wife agrees to buy one - if I also buy a forest and a vineyard.

I guess I have to keep the TR.....

Ciao, Marco

Tr Redrose Group having a short holiday at Llanerchindda Farm, Starting at Blakemere Centre we had a pleasant drive to Shrewsbury Prison for a tour. (And they let us out after) we then drove to our accommodation where afternoon tea was provided.

We included a prison on our drive it Day Princetown Dartmoor. Really interesting, didn’t realise how far back the prison went. You might say some really unpleasant individuals were placed there, obviously, I’ve had much need of operating table but not sure Id fancy the one in the Photo.

PS.  Not sure about the Rolls, Stuart - therm’s for the upper crust.

Dan

That looks like a MK1 Ford Zephyr in the garage behind Dan.

Stuart.
