  3. Hi Mike, I’m interested, please email me details on stevebaker267@gmail.com steve
  4. A „wheel rim lock nut“….
  5. Yesterday
  6. 195x65 Pirelli P6's. The cheapness is due to the 196x65 being a common size for many car models.
  7. The head is large enough to not pull through the drive flange and brake drum. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-100869PRESSFIT
  8. Hi Jerry - not this one, it's one that needs a special profile to undo, but doesn't spin normally. Thanks Peter - would that stud pull through the brake drum or does the shoulder have too big a diameter? Myles
  9. Thanks guys ,been thinking about it if Rally D don’t come good I will buy the original calipers from tr shop and use my steel wheels and caps Nick
  10. Could the Morgan 16” wire wheel be suitable? http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=606
  11. Thanks Rob. I have ordered some of each see how it looks.
  12. May be a bit wide not sure of offset https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-RS1743K
  13. Do what the racers do. On my 4 cyl race engines (without additional rocker feed from the camshaft) I fit a small restrictor bush into the hole of the rocker shaft pillar at the pillar to head point. using a 3 mm hole for the oil feed, it's plenty' Which is why I won't fit an auxiliary rocker shaft feed, robbing oil and pressure from parts of the engine that needs it. Mick Richards.
  14. At the risk of stating the obvious, or totally mis-understanding, isn't the special anti theft nut supposed to spin round? Jerry
  15. Thanks David, had an email this afternoon from Rally design asking for some pics N
  16. Hello Richard - I would be happy to take the Goodwood TR Group newsletters. We are approaching our 30th anniversary of the group and, although it's likely I also have those newsletters, it would be good to save them. I'm not sure when, where I could take them - but perhaps we could arrange something at a mutually attended event, or other convenient time/place. Rod
  17. The PO fitted the additional oil feed pipe after the rocker shaft wore badly / prematurely on the rebuilt engine. I'm looking for a simple method to regulate the oil flow that the pipe supplies so some of the additional lubriction can be retained. Has anyone found a good/ simple method to add a restriction of some kind into the pipe or banjo union ? Many thanks Bob
  18. I have been clearing my garage and the paperwork indoors as well. I now have a very large collection of TR action . The oldest is issue no.110 November "93. I have counted how many copies I have and it looks as if there are more than 140 . There may be more in the attic but for now I am looking for an enthusiastic owner who would like this collection free of charge. It is currently in East Sussex. They need a new home in the next few weeks. There are also Goodwood TR group newsletters September 1999 - November 2001. Please send a message on the forum if you are interested ? Thanks
  19. Well the Master cylinder was the issue - or at least replacing it today seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for all the help and advice.
  20. Thanks Stuart, yes that's always possible although I would have said it was installed with the wires all pointing the same way. What is the best source for replacement RHD chrome stalk switches?
  21. L799 is no longer available as a new repro, I don’t think. Cheers, Tim
  22. Thanks guys!! That was the answer I was hoping for. BTW - the other winter job I did, (based on recommendation Mick made a while ago), was removing and cleaning the oil filter head assembly. At first I thought that might be what was leaking! Anyway, mine was fairly clean with just some sludge around the spring/ball assemblies. However I’m now seeing almost 10 pounds more oil pressure indicated on the gauge, so it was worth the effort. Jim
  23. Not into the oil galleries though - just into the crankcase. Just put screws in the holes.
  24. Nick. A quick search on the forum shows that Wyn's car was sold at one point by Mark O'Malley - Classic Marks. He's Marko on here and if you contact him, he may have details of the wheels and/or a photo. It's a well developed/modified car, or at least it was. David
