Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

Had a lovely drive to Dent Village Cumbria, the Heritage Centre and Museum is a great place for a visit, also has a cafe and a Walk through time up Flintergill outrake . Our overnight stop is Moffat on our way to Doune.

Spent the day cruising the Tarn river Gorge. 4 hours of endless bends and spectacular scenery. Virtually no traffic all day. Mostly sunshine but then got a bit wet 5km from our destination.

Good evening, another lovely day on the roads from Moffat to our first stop at The Ship That Never Sailed at Blackness. Looks very impressive and well built. We then headed to our resting point for the evening in Callander, ready for a short run to Doune tomorrow morning.

Hi,

already last weekend, we habe been out with your local classic car club

to the Palace of the Hohenzollern family at Sigmaringen, at the river Donau (very narrow so close to its well)

Weather was not that good and we had no time for making good photos,

this is from a poster the look on the palace from the other side.

With us, our new club made Wolfgang with his lovely black Porsche 911 Targa.

He owend TR4s and TR6s in the 80-ies, living close to Swiss, and supported hinmself with parts from Swiss scrap yards.

All of them went their way to be recycled car parts themself

Yesterday a short drive to the TÜV, passed it with laud, no problems with my modifications (or the guy did not see them).

Currently we are busy with another project:

this years opened garden (tomorrow) of our local "art and cultur club", 15 gardens are opened at our village.

My wife wants to present ours, and I make the thing an open garage day with photo exposition.

Every year before the husbands asked (while the wifes are in the garden) "...we know, but where are the MCs and the Triumph....").

Ciao, Marco

Currently at The Hawk near Andover (sorry, no pics) on the way home after a couple of weeks of glorious sunshine touring Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Not seen another TR at any time, just a cream Herald convertible near Truro about 12 days ago.

Looking forward to getting home tomorrow and meeting up with Graham Teason after his epic 5000mile GB coastal trip (see other thread)

edit to correct spelling and to add the following;  Sorry, there was one TR - At Two Bridges on Dartmoor the weekend before last - an excellent yellow 6.  Did not have the chance to look for owner - Did not spot a TRR sticker or badge.
