Here's TuRK's at a year old with owner Dudley Ings taken at Chester Terrace Mews, London in 1959. Dudley owned TuRK until 1967 and then sold it to my dear departed friend Fred Johnson who gifted TuRK to me in 2003.

The picture Reminded me of the Christine Keeler TV programme that’s on at the moment.

in Reality it’s just round the corner a brisk walk

I thought for a second there that Hamish was teeing up a Christine Keeler joke.. What's the difference between Christine Keeler and driving a TR3 on cobblestones ?

Another B&W photo that TuRK's second owner (Dudley Ings) sent me - taken as the Queen Mary leaves Southampton in July 1959.

Cheers, Andrew

What a huge car!

They must have been shrunk over the decades?

(Sorry me for that, Dudly Ings)

Liège-Rome-Liège 1958.  Finished 17th overall, 7th in class according to Tome 2 of Frédéric Reydellet's excellent "Les Triumph en Compétition", which has this photo and a couple of others of the car.

Amazing pikkie! What is it about B&W? Adds drama! Colour can be really effective, but very hard to get it right.

My old car! What a shock to see it! Rallied from day one. Mud on sides suggests this flash night shot done when it was all over. What's the other badge, Phil? Not the Standard Triumph one?
