19 cars carrying 37 Devon Group members had breakfast at Bovey Tracey before driving across Dartmoor for a tour of Dartmoor Prison Museum organised by Crawfie.
The return across the moor was punctuated by a cream tea at Widecombe.

8 cars from the Leicestershire TR group took part in the Stonehurst Farm Drive it Day run in aid of Rainbows Hospice. There was an eclectic mix of cars from the 1934 MG PB to a 1960's Rolls-Royce, probably 60-70 cars all together. The rain threatened all day but only amounted to a drizzle, so it was top down for most of the day. The 2 hour run was all on very small lanes, many single track roads with lots of mud and a few large puddles/small floods and loads of bumps to test the suspension and your aching back. A lot of fun was had by all along with bacon butties and loads of coffee.

Will have to wash the car again.....

Redrose Group Drive it day started at Jodrell Bank for a look round, we then went for a very well organised 90 mile run through Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire (luckily out engines are better tuned than the tractors we followed for 5 miles) ending up in Holmes Chapel for a roast dinner beer and a chat.

Nene Valley TR had a great drive out today, starting from our regular base at Sywell Aerodrome, heading through north Northants for a couple of hours beforelunch in Naseby.

The line up included six TRs, my GT6 and a Morgan.

Well done to Geoff for excellent planning.

My sister (one of the many) was staying at the Thurstone  Hotel, which is near where your Mother lives Hamish, and sent this pic of the ‘scruffy corner’ of the car park…. Maybe just a normal day at that particular hotel?

Eight Cumbria Group cars met at Dalemain house above Ullswater, a multimake club meet organised by Wigton motor Club, including Rex Harrison, who left his TR4A at home and brought the Jenson 541, for a change.

to 'have  a look at the classics' and catch up with many old faces. Couple of hours there and some of us, headed up Hartside pass, for lunch and a piece of cake just by Alston. Hartside, the best 20mls driving in England!

John.
