BlueTR3A-5EKT
I'd be more worried about the lamp post or is it a redundant tram/trolley bus catenary pole? Peter W

RogerH
It is a lamp post. I'm sure the rear wheel steering will get it through. A couple of years back when they moved a Concorde from Heathrow to the Thames at Brentford by road they had to uproot a fair few signs and bollards. Roger

Z320
Family of a friend of mine comes from the Black Forest. His grand-grand father job in the 1920/30-ies was on the rear trailer of timber trucks, he on the steering wheel and a college of him on the braking wheel. I remember a photo of them on the trailer at my friends home, looks real impressive and like very hard work. With our engines and low prices for material and energy, special petrol, we are all "soft eggs" today Edited February 6, 2020 by Z320

Roger Hi Roger Much more interesting cargo too..I take it the signs and bollards were removed in advance rather than 'uproot-as-you-go' !

ianc
I admire the skill shown by the drivers, especially the fellow at the rear, who, having no forward view, has to be very alert to what's happening to right and left. And they travel at a fair old lick! Ian Cornish
JJC
Back to the original picture - was it Manchester? They had TR4 police cars there in 62 JJC
