See: http://wiki.dtonline.org/index.php/Wired_Edge Looks like you allowed a little too much for the wire. As said on that page it's 2.5 x the wire diameter. Good luck! John Good bench mark allowance 2.5 times. for specific angles in differeing material thicknesses the Bend allowance tables are your friend. https://www.machinemfg.com/bend-allowance-formula/ Edited December 10, 2023 by BlueTR3A-5EKT

John Morrison
Hi Marco, check this one out on wired edges - all you need is a hammer! John.
Z320
Thanks all for advice, but to safe time I very likely will not do the wired edge. It would just be a challenge to do, but there is no really need for it at the rear or front end of the cover.

Z320
Thanks all for your laud, that gives me some new drive and a good progress for today My idea is to make "the bell" butt-welded (correct term?) or hard soldered, but all other parts connected with overlap and rivets. Charlie D
Marco, I don’t mean to be nosey, but… What is that thing in the photos, up against the wall, with all the pipes and green taps attached. And what does the tray do that is underneath them? And the tap at the right-hand side. What is that for? I just can’t work it out. Charlie.
john.r.davies
Very nicely ("nicely" = exact, well fitting) done! But Marco, where does the stick go?

That is our trinking water distrubtor with 3 lines (cold water gerneral, cold water refill of the cistern, cold water to trinking water boiler) The tray is to get the lines empty in the case of a repair via the small green taps, the tap right is 3/4" with a "Gardena" fitting (shure you know) to plug a hose. Right is the pressure reducers with back flashable trinking water filter.
