Ricks green TR6
I put a white pinstripe on the car today and I can’t decide if I like it or not.. Should I keep it or loose it?
Richard Pope
I lke it. Adds a touch of class IMHO.
Andy Moltu
Look good on the dark cars. Not sure about them on reds and the lighter colours.
Martin50
The pin stripe was on my car when i purchased it. Very subtle i think. I would not remove it. Was it standard when first sold?
Nigel Triumph
I like pinstripes on a TR6, have a red stripe on my Triumph White car. Nigel
Ricks green TR6
I’ve only just put it on so I’ll see if I warm to it.
richard61
Happy with mine, the vinyl has stayed put. Richard
Topoff
Hi I think the stripe transforms the TR6 and wouldn't be without it. just be careful when washing and polishing to wipe from the middle to the end to avoid lifting the tape. They were not factory fitted but put on by the dealers, often from new..
cp25616
I normally do not care for pinstripes but have to say on your green car it looks just fine. Alan G
John Morrison
Think the pinstripe looks ace. Thinking about putting one on my White TR4, is it easy to do? John.
brian -r
Looks great , accentuates the body line well . I think the TR 6 can look a bit slab sided from some angles and have considered doing something similar with mine. Brian
Bfg
Gets my vote on the TR6 - I feel they are very befitting a 1970's car. Such fashion accessories in trim, details like number plates, and of course the car colours, tended to be different before and subsequent to that era. Pete

Thinking about putting one on my White TR4, is it easy to do? John. Easier than you’d expect John. Trick is to start at the rear and stick the end down before removing enough backing to offer up to each panel at a time before allowing it to stick.
richard61
Don’t forget to remove waxes and silicone off the panels first, I did each side in one long stripe and then cut the door gaps.
charlie74
I have a gold pinstripe on mine and if it ever gets repainted I’ll be putting it back on
Alfrom
I have a black pin stripe on my Pimento car. As has already been said, I think it helps with'elongating the 'blunt' aero style. Wouldn't be without it now. Same for the black sills - although that may upset some afficianados but the car also does not have the sill finisher metal strips.
Red6
Have black stripes on my current pimento 6 and previously had red stripes on my white 6. Both looked good IMHO. But in both cases the stripes were just above the panel swage lines rather than below.
