Too much info Stuart - you have to be resident in ‘the republic’ for at least 120 days to hold on to your passport - belated Happy Birthday Niall

Good luck tomorrow Neil, but you don’t need luck just a good man who knows his job (like you !) and as said in other posts its about the post op physiotherapy - you do realise that you will qualify as a Cyborg after the op (whose physical abilities are extended beyond normal human limitations by mechanical elements built into the body.) so hope to hear you’ll be back in action soon
Best Regards
Hi Nigel. in answer to your concern about the UK plate, the only reason you might need them is when a person here might ask you “and which car is yours ? - your answer would be “ the one with the GB AND THE UK plate” - so enjoy your TRip to Ireland and remember most of the weather coming in off the Atlantic can make a sunny day feel cold

Came across this thread today (23/5/2024) and to answer the questions
Do you volunteer? Yes
Where ? The Oncology Day Ward in St James’s Hospital Dublin
Why ? Now that I’m retired from full time work it gives a structure to one day a week (usually Wednesday), it was supposed to be a pilot project for 6 months - that was two and a half years ago.
Hi Paul, I have to take issue with your description of Rosemary as a “little old lady”, a description of her appeared in the Irish Times as being tall, blonde and slender with excellent deportment, and certainly the enclosed photo is not that of a little old lady in fact quite a formidable presence !
