  1. Rob Have you spoken to Rees Brothers in Aldershot , no personnel knowledge of them , just they are quite close to you Chris
  2. This is the Gates hose I have used https://www.gates.com/us/en/fluid-power/engine-hose/fuel-line-hose.p.4219-000000-000003.html As far as I can see same supplier two different solutions to the same problem. As it is not entirely clear which is the best solution I would suggest you go to here https://www.gates.com/us/en/fluid-power/engine-hose/fuel-line-hose.html and make up your own mind what to use
  3. My 6 is a 73 model so it has a baffled tank, when I purchased it 30+ years ago it was already fitted with a Bosch fuel pump mounted in the wheel arch and had a pre filter in the spare wheel well, which from memory was a disposable one from a Vauxhall Cavalier , (this I would think is the modern day equivalent SYTEC MOTORSPORT UNIVERSAL FUEL FILTER 8mm HOSE TAILS SSF5160) I have switched to a Sytec Bullet Filter they are available with all different size inlets and outlets (see www.metlinmotorsport.co.uk), a point to note is the fuel is flowing out the tank, through the filter to the pump al
  4. Interesting debate about R9 and R14 Moss sell Gates R9 fuel pipe but state it’s not for use on injection cars. If you look at Gates own website they say their R9 pipe is not to be used for fuel injection and if you scroll through there range the one they say to use for fuel injection is their R14 pipe. My personnel experience I got hold of some of their R14 pipe (not that easy to get of over here) fitted it to the pipe from pump to PRV, result goodbye smelly boot.
  5. Alli with Electric fan for me
  6. R9 is quite an old spec hose I think the current spec is R14
  7. Try these https://www.fastkeys.co.uk/car-keys They cut a key for me from photos
  8. John This is what you need Though it is difficult to get hold of this side of the pond
  9. Hi John

i found these people https://www.fastkeys.co.uk/car-keys brilliant when I snapped a key in half and I could not find anyone else who could replace it.

Believe it or not they were able to cut a new one for me from a photograph, amazing service

    Hope this is useful

    Chris
