& Another ‘New Game’: Can you name this car?

Recommended Posts

Knew it would be too easy for you guys! Yes, my conclusion was that it was a 1924(?) Cowley Morris Bullnose, 2 seater from the photo below. False door on the driver's side. One entered from the n/s pavement.

What a thing to have had in the family. Alas, long gone...

Yup, Morris 10-4, with dickie-seat.

As a youth a friend had one, which we drive to Switzerland and back.     Central throttle pedal, which took some getting used to and 'bowstring' bumpers, a strip of spring steel between wide brackets.  My friend once mixed up the brake and throttle in the King's Road as we approached red traffic lights.  We  hit a Mini, which was catapulted across the junction, with minimal damage to the Mini and none to the Morris!

Great picture Hamish.

Definitely an early cycle car . . .

With those distinctive lines, I'd put my money on a Tamplin. Late Edwardian.
