When I was young, Mum always put the clothes through the mangle in order to remove as much water as possible prior to hanging them on the line.

I have to say that that monster on its lovely blue base would handle the clothing of an elephant.

Very impressive collection, but won't all your friends be wanting favours now that you have publicised this?

Funny you should say that :) still have a few more machines to set up and then all systems are go I hope. Very impressed with the kit for the cost so far.

Reading that comment reminded me of when I was five years old.

My mother had a mangle which she used every week.

It had thick rubber rollers.

Being an inventive sort of kid I decided to convert it into a printing press.

I took a kitchen knife and carved a few letters into the rubber rollers. I then smeared some ink onto them and, getting a piece of paper, I turned the handle and fed it through the rollers.

I was most impressed with the results.

Needless to say, my mother was not.

Moral is don't let 5 year olds near your new toys.

Charlie.

Brilliant and did you pursue your creativity into later life?

I suppose that I did.

Problem I always find is that once I’ve designed something, and made it, I get bored and have to design something else.

I made myself a CNC machine … (And then could not find a use for it….)

Next I designed a vac forming machine …(And then could not find a use for it…)

A bit like the fun you get driving somewhere and then realizing that the place that you have got to is not very interesting, and so deciding to drive somewhere else.

Interesting that they're on the Swift Valley estate but with a Coventry phone number.  You see their kit all over those US TV reality car/motorbike series.

Not bad! Sorry, but A bloke called Fraco has already beaten you to inventing the full-scale road map, and 'non-stick' velcro.

Stuart.
