What is the most likely age at which you will be murdered?

What I have seen is from a very credible source.

Which you won't mind sharing with us / unless of course ...

In due course, but I was surprised and I am interested to see what other forumies think it might be.

I would guess it’s quite old.

Wives killing husbands when they discover that they have spent all their grandchildren’s inheritance on their silly classic car which will soon become worthless because the petrol has run out.

Ok, I'll play.

Given the risks of visiting them new discotechies and jitterbuggling emporiums I'd suggest late 20s, say 28.

Well for starters 'acaie' , the question you ask makes no sense.  Personally I do not expect to be murdered at all.  I assume you meant to ask "what is the average age of murder victims in xxxx ?"

Do you mean the UK, Europe, the world?  The answer will be different for each.

I don't have ethnincity information.

Rephrasing the question - At what age for an individual English citizen is there the highest probability that they will be murdered?

According to the ONS (my bold):

Age

The most common age group for victims of homicides recorded in the year ending March 2020 was 16- to 24-year-olds (142 victims) (Figure 4). This was followed by:

25- to 34-year-olds (138 victims)

35- to 44-year-olds (133 victims)

45- to 54-year-olds (92 victims)

As in previous years, children under the age of 1 year had the highest rate of homicide (28 per million population). This was followed by those aged 16 to 24 years (23 per million population) and 35 to 44 years (18 per million population).

I'm Welsh. Am I exempt?

Googling it is hardly playing the game

pointless joining in really

Sorry Hamish but:

1) IMHO it's probably too serious a subject to be suitable as a light hearted guessing-game.

2) why guess anyway, when the very shocking answer is readily available?

3) I didn't google it, I know where the ONS website is.

Apologies for spoiling the party. B)

I’m not trivialising the subject but the original post was coached in terms of a general knowledge question.

I know where my morale compass sits. I work everyday in Public Health currently on Covid issues talking to cases and workplaces.

yet I try not to rise to he denyers and anti mask anti vaccination  crowd.

sometimes this forum is bl@@dy hard work.
