8 years ago i was talked into going halves on an abandond project. So after highering a van we went to Skegness to be greated by this

It had a new chassis, new outer panels and all the panels to redo the inner shell

First job was to rebuild the engine and get the chassis built up

Next was the inner body which we decided was too far gone, with another one sorted and repaired it was time for the blasters

Have a few problems, the overdrive don't work, engine wants setting up and the servo don't work, but overall very happy

Would just like to say a big thanks to Chris from the Devon group, John aka Stoker and everone on here for answering all my questions

Gosh!...I once scrapped one I bought to 'do-up' that was far better than what you started out with!

Hope you're going to get those sills black stone chip painted?

About time too !!!!!

Don't know what you have been messing about at.

No, seriously chaps very well done, I don't think I would have taken on such a challenge. I know you both cringe when I come to your workshop and cast my critical eye over it, but apart from the crimp on terminals it really is very good.

See you soon

John

That's a superb effort !

Congratulations on sticking with such a project, I'd never have finished that !

Well done! With luck the overdrive will be a simple electrical fault and the servo will be a porous hose.

If you got my private message please ignor, turning a pile of bits into that is an achivement, it is fab u lous. I would however be prepard to take it off your hands even with the O/D switch on the gear knob, but it have to be really cheap.

Now can we please see it at some of our local group meetings.
