barkerwilliams
Terrific job. Is that an Ikea flat-pack Singer? "What is the difference to our TRs, please? " - nothing seemed to be coated in dirty oil. Alan
Charlie D
The most time consuming bit I’m finding in my 40+years TR rebuild is trying to find parts that I KNOW I put away somewhere, but have forgotten where. After several hours I give up and order new bits. The day the order arrives the original parts turn up somewhere that I’m certain I’d searched a dozen times. The same with tools that I used last week. I put them down somewhere in a safe place, but take an hour to find them next time I need them. Actual construction time is about 25% of total time spent in the garage. Charlie.

foster461
That was just like my TR3 project minus the 5 years of cutting, grinding, welding and painting.
