The 2015 Shropshire Group Weekend will take place on 17th July to 19th July. We will base ourselves at The Halfway House Inn. Eardington, Near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. This will enable us to visit the South East of the county as well as make forays into Worcestershire & South Staffordshire. Gathering of pre-1989 classic & sports cars, motorcycles, classic buses and commercials on Ilkeston's historic market place in Derbyshire. Booking & further info via: www.ilkeston.biz and Facebook 'Ilkeston Heritage & Classic Vehicle Show'. Buses by invitation only. Clubs, groups and large commercials please enquire before booking so that appropriate space can be allocated. Lincolnshire Group - TRLincs - has had to change the monthly meeting venue for the March meeting. TR Lincs meets on the 3rd Monday of each month and the 16th March meeting will be held at the Abbey Lodge Inn, Woodall Spa, Lincolnshire commencing 8.00pm. We have been re-invited to display at this event, with an initial offer of 30 car spaces (free entry for car and passenger/s). Last year the Kent Group took 18 cars, so there should be a few extra spaces for ye non-locals. If you are interested, PM me and I will start a list, then closer to the date I can advise the organiser how many we are. Christmas is coming and so is THE SHROPSHIRE TURKEY TROT! This year's Turkey Trot will be on Sunday 14th December. We will meet in the Starbuck's Car Park at Battlefield Service Station just on the junction of the A53 and the A49 Shrewsbury By-pass at 10am for a prompt 10:30am start. Please bring an umbrella, change for parking, a pen or pencil and presents for the draw. There will be a short run and an activity before sitting down to a Christmas Lunch. CANCELLED Birmingham Group Concours De Elegance 7/6/2014 Dear All. I can only apologise for this last minute notificaton I think you will all agree, today is not going to be the ideal day to hold a Concours De Elegance. Due to the extreme weather conditions, I have taken the executive decision to cancel today’s event I will however, once I have confirmed, forward you all another date. Update : Date changed to Feb 2nd due to inclement weather !! I'm spending quite a bit of time this winter in St Katherine Dock, next to Tower Bridge, and thought it would make a great venue for a winter meet! Being as it's so central perhaps this would be a great opportunity for the various groups around London, or further afield, to get together? I'm thinking of a Sunday lunchtime meet, so as to minimise traffic and avoid the Congestion Charge, and allow the trip to be completed in daylight for many. I would host a coffee (etc!) on Amita, and / or we could go to the Dickens Inn for lun

Although last year's AGM was much delayed, we were determined to get it back on TRack and I can confirm that it will take place at the customary December meeting. However, The Cock is now much busier following its successful take-over, and 1st December will be the first day of their Christmas Lunches, so we have not booked a buffet this year.
