I have been visiting family in Sydney and found this in a neighbours garage, the owner did the conversion himself his biggest problem was the steering linkages.

Did you get a chance to drive in it? Even better, to drive it yourself?

No ken, I did get a glass of juice and a Tim Tam.

The owner is also fitting a Supercharged Charger V8 in a 2.5 Saloon so he's quite adventurous.

Im not sure about the road legal side of things Stuart but he reckons he has raced it.

He has fitted roll bars.

Could you please ask him which car the SC is from?

What about the red SC in the rear?

And a photo of his smart roll over bars would be great!

Ciao, Marco

Hi Marco

I only have pics of the roll bars from outside the car and at present, they do look a neat job and fit within the original hood well.

Unfortunately Im not in contact with the owner Marco, I just happened to be out cycling and noticed the garage door open. If you need more info I could make some enquiries with my family.

Hi Paul,

no problem, I thought you are close to each other while a BBQ.

Thank you for the photo, that shows more of the roll bar, looks good.

Enjoy your holiday with your family.

Ciao, Marco

I wonder how the builder overcame the problem with the steering column orientation, would be doable with modification of the exhaust manifold and steering shaft.
