nylen
Hi, Some one knows where I can find the Cubb Box Retainer as Rimmer 623920???
AarhusTr6
Hi Pretty sure its just a regular bulb holder with claw clamps connected to a switch. Rich
SeanF
There is a metal ring riveted to the glove box which holds the bulb in place. These are very hard to find.
RogerH
These are very hard to find. But should be easy to make - if the dimensions are known. Roger
nylen
I am looking for the part as 47 below. That has number 623920.
SeanF
That is the metal ring held in by 3 rivets in my photo above. As Roger says, probably easy to make.
Mark69
I've been looking for one for a long time, you may as well be looking for hen's teeth. One of the main suppliers quoted £35 but didn't have one in stock.
AarhusTr6
£35 . .. that's cheating...
RogerH
Hi Mark, mine are only £5 but I've never had any in stock Sean, if you can send me the dimensions through I'll see if I can spin some up OD, ID, Diameter of the top hat, depth of the top hat. nylen
Time frame?? No panic. It is 3 months to the spring and I am living hopefully another 10-20 years!!!
RogerH
Hi Nylen, when I get the dimensions I can then make the mandrel and bingo. I've got a good guestimation from Ed's photo. Roger
RogerH
Hi Nylen, all sorted. Not identical to the original but close. If you attach an earth wire to one of the three rivets then you can use a simple bulb socket as used on the gauges. PM me your address. Roger
Z320
Please, how is this to switch on and off?

DaveN
Blimey are they that rare and desirable?.... I’ve just chucked one in the bin as I used a simple led lamp. I’ll go see if I can rescue it.
RogerH
Hi Dave, it is only the retaining ring holding the bulb holder that is no longer stocked. Easy enough to fabricate from a couple of pieces of sheet but I tried to spin these. I took a fair few goes to get the right technique. But it worked out in the end. Of course the originals were stamped out 10 a penny. Roger
