SteveB21
I see Classic Motoring magazine has 2 page spread this month on Moto-Build in Egham, who are near me, but I had not heard of them before. Anyone got an experience of them for TR servicing / trim work? Thanks Steve
rhino_mac
I bought sidescreens, tonneau, hood cover and hood from them for my TR3. All very nice (particularly the sidescreens). They're not cheap though (think it was £1138 for that lot supply only). All delivered on time almost to the day (about 3 weeks if I remember rightly). More recently, I've tried ordering another tonneau (car has been converted from LHD to RHD) and I struggled to get anything from them (still haven't placed an order). I discussed the restoration of my TR3 with them at the beginning of the year in some detail but didn't feel they were very good at communicating and so I didn't put the car in with them in the end. On trim, if you're prepared to pay, they are very good (at making trim, not sure on actually trimming the car but I have heard good things). On restoration, they're an unknown to me, but they need to learn to reply to emails and phone calls better.
jerrytr5
They've been around for donkey's years, started as MG (wash my mouth out) specialists I believe. Try one of the forums from the Dark side. Jerry
AndyR100
I remember them from many many many moons ago (my MG days)...... personal experience (which may not be indicative of all their work) .....lets just say that i was unimpressed enough not to go back. From what i have seem advertised, their car sticker-prices seem to be very optimistic as well. ...... Andy

EdwinTiben
i bought a set of sidescreens for my tr2. the quality of the work was good, but currently i have a local trimmer re-doing some of their work because the detailing wasnt right, mainly too much fabric on the lower flap. communications is bad. a friend ordered parts, received the wrong ones after ages and returning them, getting money back was tragic.. not a returning customer here... Fireman049
I remember buying a centre front bumper section for my MGA from them and it became 'gold plated' (Rust) in a very short time!! Tom.
