Yes, I fitted them to my 4A many years ago and have a set on the shelf to fit to my 4 as part of its restoration. Doddle to fit.

That price for an individual solution is absolutely OK!

But why not do a proper repair during a restoration?

This is not much more work.

And the hudge effort with the Jubilee-clip I never understood.

The rubber UJ can be supplied in two versions - one has no counter bored holes and uses Hex Head bolts

Item # 65  HERE

The later version has counter bored holes and takes Allen bolts

Either work.

The jubilee clip has always concerned me  as it is so easy to  align the bolts into the coupling clamp  - with the socket/allen key on the head you can now tilt the bolt and in it goes.

Hi

Yes when stripped for a resto i would do it properly and use the upgraded bushes

i am restoring my 5 at the moment so that what will be done

like i said getting all that harness etc etc through the steering etc etc when i did the overdrive switch was a ball ache so taking an easy option hahaha

Roger never had a issue with the rubber UJ having said that que the swearing etc when it doesnt go together

deep breath and patience always works haha
