Ian Lynam
I think that this topic has been covered in the past but I can’t find anything when I search on the forum. Does anyone know of a trimmer who will recover sidescreens? Preferably in the midlands area but not absolutely vital. Thanks Ian

Ian Lynam
Thanks for replying Peter. They are for a 1955 TR2, but I would like the sliding windows and my frames have the channel for these (I think!). I'll contact Coventry Hood and see what they say. TimG
Ian do your frames fit perfectly? Do any adjustments before refurbishment.
Ian Lynam
Thanks Tim. I’ve spoken with Brian from Catcott Garages who emphasised that point. One of mine is a good fit and the other needs a bit of work. It’s catching slightly on the windscreen frame. Ian

Ian Thats possibly because one stanchion is slightly bent backwards, perennial problem with people pulling themselves out of the car by grabbing the screen, especially prevalent on ones that have come back from the US. Ian I can vouch for Brian and Dee he will spend time making them fit, then and only then will he pass them on to Dee for covers to be made.
