Thats possibly because one stanchion is slightly bent backwards, perennial problem with people pulling themselves out of the car by grabbing the screen, especially prevalent on ones that have come back from the US.

I can vouch for Brian and Dee he will spend time making them fit, then and only then will he pass them on to Dee for covers to be made.
