John Morrison
Hi all, my son has a 65 plate VW transporter van seems that I have lost the spare set of keys. Can anyone recommend a reputable service in North London, who could copy the other set, and sort the button bit? John.
RogerH
Hi John, you could try Timpsons. They have stores all over North London Roger
Tony_C
Doh… That’s unlucky John…. Sure others with more knowledge and expertise will be along shortly…. In the meantime, how about trying one of the big VW ‘unofficial’ spares suppliers that are North London based? Good luck (finding them?) and if a call to the guys above does not resolve it hopefully they will point you in the right direction
Lebro
Most shoe repairers also cut keys, & some (Timspsons etc ) have got some fancy kit to copy the RFID chip code. Having said that they failed to copy the code in my my Fiat Sceicento key. Bob
Misfit
Replacement key companies, they are all over the place. I had a replacement for my Citroen Relay by a similar firm Edited March 7, 2022 by Misfit

barkerwilliams
John, Who does you son bank with? Some banks have benefits for account holders, mine, amongst other benefits has replacement insurance for lost keys. Alan

duncan
John, might be late suggesting this, a Skoda garage / service might supply the necessary key at a lower price ! Duncan Edited March 10, 2022 by duncan spelling
Ian Vincent
Just make sure you don’t lose the other key because then things get really expensive. You have replace the central processor. Rgds Ian
