Andrew Smith
Afternoon again gents, Can anyone provide a photo of the matt black area behind the grill. Thanks Steve Here you go Steve, hope these help: Or, if you want to go for the 'factory look' you could always paint it by hand (matt black not satin) and introduce a few paint runs here and there.... Cheers Andrew
Marc R
Hi Andrew, very nice self explaining pictures, Thanks'. On a PI CP, the radiator grille assembly is composed with 4 parts,(i) the grille,(ii) the surround,(iii) the lower finisher and (iv) the transversal aluminium "U" shape central bare supporting the grille badge. - For the grille/surround and lower finisher, what is respective black to use ? (Grille/Matt/ Surround Matt or Satin and lower finisher Satin ?) Who can advise? - For the transversal aluminium "U" shape, we should not forget the black line inside the "U" (To stay close to the original configuration, I cut a ribbon line on an old inner tube fixed with 2 small clips on each side) Regards

Marc, The grille is matt black and is grille finisher satin black, but if you want the definitive answer then maybe contact the TR6 Registrar, Derek Graham - his details are in the back of TRaction.
