nowtelse2do
It's the same old story I think with most of us. The cars I've owned in order are :- 1956 Standard 8 1939 Standard Flying 8 1931 Standard Big 9 1947 Austin 8 1939 Standard Flying 14 1939 Rover 14 Cars I could have and should have bought were :- 1967 Elan 1958 Healey 100/6 And this one still breaks my heart for letting it pass was a (not sure of the date now early 50's I think) Healey Estate. Very very rare. Must stop, I'm in tears. Dave
lynchpin
HI I remember being at Southampton auctions back in the early 70"s when a sad and well knackered early mini cooper s in almond green with white roof came in all original and nobody wanted to bid on it, everybody laughed when someone reluctantley bought it on a maiden bid for probably about £20 how they laughed when it limped out running on 3 and chucking out blue smoke, wouldn"t mind it being in my garage now waiting for a rebuild.. Could have bought a shell some time back and done it, hindsight etc.. phil..
