Capping of oil cooler

Recommended Posts

Not sure on sizes, but maybe try the blanking plug on the front throttle body and see if that fits ?

Edited - just saw on your other thread that you're running carbs.

You can measure on the fittings you removed?

Don’t blank it off or you will lose the oil flow back into the filter.  Unless you intend to wreck the engine bearings that is ………
You need to simply loop a hose between the two oil cooler adaptors without the oil radiator in place.

Mocal make a spin on adaptor without oil cooler take off if you object to a loop of hose.   Give them a ring or contact Moss who used to stock them.      http://www.mocal.co.uk/products-spinofffilteradapters.html

Just spotted this thread - thankfully Peter and Roy have posted. I know someone that decided to blank off the cooler and wrecked his engine.

Where do we send the bill for this sort of advice?

I know, we don’t because it is what we do.
