Cox & Buckles TR Register Championship - 1991

A clip from the British Racing & Sports Car Club Race Meeting at Mallory Park on Sunday 14th April 1991 (from VFSvideos on Youtube).

The video features part of the Cox & Buckles TR Register Championship race, event 4 on the programme over 10 Laps, round 2 of the championship.

Drivers are Michael Richards, Mike Read and Graham Wilson (Triumph TR7s), Richard Wright, Simon Knowles, Paul Dingle and Alan Charlton (Triumph TR6s), Derek Dingle, Chris Connoley, Steve Chapman and Alan Tomkins (Triumph TR4s) and John Pritchley, Mike Walker, and Ludovic Bois (Triumph TR3s). The race was finally won by Michael Richards.

Thanks Deggers, my my that takes me back, my second season running the TR7 V8 and first season sponsored by my employer.  Misty memories of a different life.

Incidentally, the video clip was uploaded to Youtube just last week, and ’VfsVideos’ who produced the film, apparently have the full length version of this race, as well as others from the TR Championships, available through their website, here :
