AarhusTr6
Hi can somebody please tell me if this is suitable (Flotec) or not and I presume it has been fitted at the wrong angle? Richard Edited December 19, 2022 by AarhusTr6

Mike C
Yep, they should be fitted with the filter hanging down to retain its oil charge when the engine stops. Mine's at about 7 O'clock -needed to clear the clutch cylinder.

Hi Richard, glædelig jul to you too! I do not know the make Flowtech, so I hope the seals will fit. It looks very similar however. Waldi
RobH
Flotec are a large UK supplier of hydraulics and pneumatic equipment so I would expect it to be good. https://www.flotecindustrial.co.uk They don't seem to supply this sort of thing any more though so if it's one of theirs it must be quite old. Richard That looks like an oil filter take off supplied by Mocal who have a very large range of oil filter/ cooler products. They are still in business near HR. That angle of the filter looks wrong to me? It needs to be moved by another 90 degrees? But the oil pressure relief valve is in the way? Therefore the filter needs to be unscrewed and the take off repositioned downwards? Bruce.
