ctc77965o
In general: Any 1 Din head unit will have a Bluetooth connection so you can use your phone for spotify or radio or whatever. No need to go with a specialist head unit, just pick something in keeping with your interior....or get a traditional Blaupunkt from the late 60's with a plug-in bluetooth adapter. Speakers: In an open-top car, having the speakers ahead of the driver is important, on the sides of the footwell for instance....behind the seats works OK in a closed car, but is ineffective with roof down. Crawfie
What I like about these speakers is that they can be easily moved around . Fixed by Velcro . Thanks for the advice

Once you've found the right spot to mount them, why would you want to move them? Or is it for annoying the gentle folk of Ashburton on a Friday evening? Tim D.
I’ve tried multiple installs of speakers etc in small British sports cars. In the end the solution that I think works best is to fit a pair of small self contained tweeters up front and some woofers behind the seats. Your can get some really cheap pod tweeters from alpine which work well and give you the stereo directionality. The woofers can be hidden e.g. under the seat as they don’t provide much directionality. In my TR6 I actually put some 1990s book shelf speakers (JPW minims) on the back shelf as a temporary measure for the 2018 RBRR. They’ve been there ever since and give great sound.. For the head unit I have tried multiple solutions. In my tr6 I have a reasonably modern pioneer with dab. In my saloon I have a really cheap chinese Bluetooth amp which works really well. On a cortina I rebuilt I fitted a cheap head unit which had Bluetooth and fm and that worked ok. tim Edited November 3, 2021 by Tim D. typos
