EliTR6
Hi all, Most weekdays the 3 spends around 10 hours parked in the sun. I'm not a polisher but I do give my car the odd coat of wax to protect it. There's no possiblity of shade at work unfortunately. Anything I can do to stop the paint fading too much? Cheers Eli
John L
A nice cotton cover?

I could put up an awning but it would probably get nicked and it would mean keeping a space reserved for me which I'm not keen on (first come, first served for parking). openroad
Good Morning Eli, apart from shade or a cover, no real solutions from me, Except , just keep going to work , make plenty of money and by the time you retire , you can afford to make the faded paintwork beautiful again !! RobH
Just park it facing the other way on alternate days, then it will fade uniformly
ctc77965o
Just like the human body, a good quality sunscreen prevents sun damage for paint, leather, plastics & rubber. There's a special 3M product: http://carcarestores.3mindia.co.in/our-services/wash-and-wax/uv-protection There's even a special sunblock for your tyres: http://www.sunblockfortires.com/index.html Or, get an automatic umbrella:
