Fireman049
Can anyone help me with the above? They are not available anymore. Tom.
Lebro
Hi Tom. I would have thought it would be fairly easy to make these ? Bob.
Fireman049
Hi Bob ~ Thank you for that. I'm rather hopeless with woodwork! I'm hoping that someone may be able to produce them for me? Tom.
Don H.
Trivial things to make, even for someone hopeless with wood, Tom. Or you can buy them. http://trf.zeni.net/summer17/189.php
Fireman049
Thank you Don ~ I may have a go at making them. Tom.
Hamish
You can make them Tom. Dont buy these. Have a go at whittling Triumph TR 2/3 Wooden Blocks, for Sidescreen Support. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/222688852370 Marine ply would be good. Cross layers will stop splitting But not original I know. Guest ntc
Unless old dry wood they will split Tom,you would be better of using oak laminate flooring.
Fireman049
Thank you Hamish and Neil ~ I'll hunt around for oak laminate flooring. Regards to you both ~ Tom.

Don H.
My wooden blocks are Baltic birch plywood. A plywood laminate is a much better choice indeed than the split-prone original dimensional lumber. I'd probably go with a softwood, or at least a low-density hardwood. Oak seems like not the best choice to me. Edited October 24, 2017 by Don H.

TomMull
Hi Tom. I would have thought it would be fairly easy to make these ? Bob. Easy on post 60K cars at least. Earlier TR3As and models are quite a bit more complicated. They span the top of the door and have both a curve and a twist. I made a mold for mine and steamed Philippine mahogany to shape. I made them in 3 pieces as original but the brackets screw into all three and they should be installed as one. Tom
