ken foster
Hi, does anyone know of a machinist who would make leather (if I can afford it or leatherette) seat covers privately in the south Bucks or heathrow area? Thanks ken

tthomson
There's a small business that does this between Wooburn Green and Bourne End, - AJ's Trimming, Princes Road - Vehicle Interiors specialist. I have no idea what they are like, but I have driven past their sign numerous times. TT

I have a few cars need seats so I need to try to reduce outlay which is why I'm searching for a private individual who doesn't have massive overheads of a business. Thanks ken Edited April 4, 2017 by ken foster

Thanks ken I've used AJ - He's a one man band, works 8ish to 3pm only. Tiny premises and hidden away. Nice guy. Charges approx £40 per hr. I used him to trim a dash top, screen frame, centre plinth approx 2 months ago - I supplied the leather kit/s from Skinners. Took him 1.5 days. That cost (I think £400) You have to call 1st and tel him your coming. best Bill
