PeteT
Hi Sage Ones, As Part of my preparations for the summer tour of the western isles, I've decided I cant be parted from my old dog (Yogi) and he will need a suitable perch in the TR2 (he will be tethered of course). Does anyone have a half decent occasional seat for sale? If it were in tan colour that would be ideal. Correct brackets would be nice but I could make some if required. Graham
Pete not sure whereabout in the country you are, but, if you can't find a suitable one for sale, I have one which you could borrow to use as a template to make your own, they don't LOOK that complicated to make, couple if bits of 18mm ply and some 25x 6mm flat bar I'm near Aylesbury, Bucks

TomMull
Mine is simply a flat piece of plywood with a bit of cushioning under the cover. I'd offer to send you a template from the ply but I won't be home for another month. Tom

TR 2100
Pete, If you want some kind of rear seat to suit your dog, seems to me it would be better to fabricate one yourself. The standard seat would see your dog having to sit sideways (so always trying to move) Why not start with the brackets (they are very simple and described above (I reckon the captive nuts will already be in place) and make a larger ply base that extends between the seats. If you really want to pamper your dog, add padding/trimming ! ! AlanR
j-eichert
I built a "box" with a flat top, covered with carpet. It consists of a length of wood with hinged boards connected to it - plus (made of thin plywood, covered with carpet too) a front wall. It suits two purposes: - A flat floor in a right angle to the tank board to palce a suitcase on - Both halves of the top can be opened and underneath each you find a compartment larger than the glove box. I store a lot of stuff in there, from small oil cans to gloves, towels and tools. Everything that should not be loose in the boot. I can send photos by e-mail Johannes
