Motorsport Mickey
As I remember the 54" width was standard, normally fitted with a double seam input from either outside edge of the roof. Mick Richards
rog1
As I remember the 54" width was standard, normally fitted with a double seam input from either outside edge of the roof. Mick Richards Thanks Mick. I don't have any pics of a vinyl covered roof so can't see where the seams would normally sit. Was hoping I could achieve it seamlessly in one piece if poss? rog1
Or Shutz and two lines of masking tape, as was back in the day! Stuart. Thanks Stuart. Have read about the "underseal" approach of old! Any thoughts on where to source a wider, workable, length in order to cover seamlessly, the rear screen and 1/4 lights? stuart
I think you will struggle to find any wider than the 54" quoted, try all the suppliers like Woolies/Martrim etc. Stuart.

Marc R
Hello Jean, Did you have the contact of (or an idea to find) the owner of TR6 w/ the angular hard top + surrey soft top ? Nice or not nice is personal opinion, so no way to debate on this factor.... the key question is to understand thequality & confort of this modification ! Noise, turbulence..... and maybe have technical information. FYI, I have (I) a 1st HT in good condition for a restoration as per the original configuration and (ii) I may have an opportunity to access to a 2nd one damaged on the front part ;-) Best regards
jean
Marc, I saw the car at a meeting in the Netherlands years ago, but I do not know the owner, If he is a member of the Dutch TR Club I can eventually find out later on. With concern to the Triumph Club Holland Edwin T. might know the person...
