MikeF
I got sent this as "you have an old car". No idea if it works or not, but the explanation of how it could work is logical. Anyone any experience or comments? Mike Edited January 16, 2017 by MikeF
Guest
Interesting! Waiting for the first restorer here to give it a try

john.r.davies
Impressive PPE! (shorts, Tee and BARE FEET) Maybe the tats protect him. But worthwhile idea. Shifting head nuts, and heads is a more common problem with Triumphs, anyone going to try it there? John
hamish durham
I can confirm this method ( using gentle heat from a small propane heat gun) works amazingly well I've used it on current landrover restoration on manifold studs, speedo drive and various seized drain plugs. littlejim
Worked for me on some seized engine bolts. Dave Connitt's blog put me on to it. My heat source was a propane/oxy torch turned low. Edited January 31, 2017 by littlejim
Lebro
Weird ? I really would not have believed that melted candle was a better releasing fluid than say Plus gas or diesel. Must try it sometime. Bob.
