Lebro
You have probably just got the supply wires to the motor connected in the wrong order. Bob.
john.r.davies
Don, I have never met an American I didn't like, and I have met a few. You join them! John
Fireman049
Before I removed the wiper motor from my 3A I applied a dab of green and green & black paint next to the respective terminals. I removed the motor about ten years ago and have just refitted it! The paint certainly helped refitting the wires! Tom.
Rodbr
Hi Stan, Dark green and black stripe at the bottom Green on the middle. Black at the top. Earth from loom to bracket Remember that it is a switched earth to power the wipers http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd269/Rodbr/P1010080.jpg Edited February 14, 2015 by Rodbr
foster461
With the wiper motor now correctly wired it works much better. Dont have a windshield yet so cant set the wiper park position but I can see that the park mechanism is working. Stan
foster461
This picture is my instrument lights, the ignition is off. Is it normal to have light showing around the edges of the center panel ?.
Lebro
As Sir Tom has said in the past "It's not unusual" You may need to tighten up the wing nuts holding the centre panel in. Here is a picture of mine (using LED bulbs by the way) Bob.

foster461
Bob I know you posted the dash photo for technical reasons but It is brilliant, very atmospheric Cheers Alan Hey I thought mine was more artsy.. dim candle light and out of soft focus, ignoring the fact that the control head is missing and there is something with LED's on the bench.
