TR4A1965 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Share Posted October 5, 2013 Well, I finally got the chassis paint work finished. It took ages. If I wanted a quicker job I would go for powder coating. Anyway it is all behind me now. This link takes you to my chassis painting page. http://tr4a.weebly.com/painting-the-chassis.html There are a couple of videos. One shows the chassis. The other is an experiment to demonstrate the chassis flex. I marked up a bit of paper and put a jack under the spline and one under the chassis and you can see the door gap changing as i pump the jack!!!!!! That's why we needed to sort the chassis. I think they were designed to flex, probably not a car out there that doesnt see a slight change in door gaps if jacked up at the corners. How do you like the Dinitrol compared to Waxoyl ?. peejay4A Posted October 5, 2013 Report Share Posted October 5, 2013 I used Dinitrol for my chassis using a Schutz gun. The canister unscrewed from the gun and it went everywhere. I can tell you it sticks very well but it doesn't pong like Waxoyl. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
