Grahamgl
Gentlemen, I recall seeing on here sometime ago a recommendation for using a steering u/ j that was for a Ford ( Escort?). I have carried out several Google searches starting “ TR Register …..” and cannot find any reference to the subject. Could someone please let me have the information concerning the alternative steering u/j? Thanks Graham

ianc
I have TR6 U'Js at each end. Revington can sell you a column with a U/J welded to each end, which means just 2 (instead of 4) bolts. Ian Cornish Edited April 11 by ianc
Richardtr3a
My steering was overhauled by an engineering company and is now tight when parking or reversing. While driving it is firm but easier to use. I am very disappointed after spending a large amount. It is supposed to be guaranteed but I have not made any progress with the company. How much does a new column cost at Revingtons. I assume that it will work without any adjustment ?? Thanks Richard & B

There was a firm that reconditions your type of column who does them for Morgans maybe they could help you, I dont have any contact details for them though. Stuart.
