From novice to ……err …less novice

Recommended Posts

I was going through my videos and looked at my 1st event at Curborough in 2017 the car was new to me and pretty much stock..

I decided to do a comparison video to 2022 as both were dry events.

the car has changed quite a bit and I have just got older and greyer.

one thing is for certain the videos are better!!!!

i was also going to do a selection of videos from different years at Shelsley but one after another as they are shorter. What do you think to that idea ?

Excellent work both for you and the TR, what upgrades are we doing over winter or is it a secret?

Mike Redrose Group

I think the stig dressed as me and some NOX injection  is needed to beat Len Olds 2x champion with me 2x 2nd.

but he did have to switch to slicks this year to fend me off.

wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t such a nice guy.

That's a very interesting video Hamish, thanks for putting it together. Plenty of progress in driver and car in quite a short time.

What do the rules allow?

Take weight out?  That includes the driver.

Brakes?

Balance?   Weigh the corners.

Handling?

Power?

thats the beauty of the club champs. It caters for any triumph car.
From class one standard road cars

class 2 limited modified - the most popular  and my class

class 3 pretty much anything goes inc full race cars

The clubs web site has an info page - check out the regs for the finer details of the sub classes which are power/weight bases.
