Malbaby
Interested to know who made this gasket. Note the sealing rings around the ports.
John L
I got mine from these people, but not sure if they are still open now, https://www.heritagegasketsltd.co.uk/ They were based in Slough. John Edited October 16, 2023 by John L
Nigel Triumph
I don't know who makes that gasket but with the sealing rings around to ports, it looks like a good one. I've bought similar from Canley Classics, which is working fine on my 2.5 litre GT6. IMHO, the best manifold gasket for Triumph sixes is the Payen JA510, but they're hard to find now. Avoid the grey gaskets made from what looks like speckled cardboard, they don't last. Nigel
John L
+1 Yes its a JA510. John

Dave McDonald
Agreed Payen JA510 is best in my opinion, but apparently now gone out of business. I’ve tried all over the place and can’t find any. Dave McD
Malbaby
I believe that the Payen gasket does not have sealing rings...Canley classics do not have a close up pic on their website. Edited October 16, 2023 by Malbaby

Part number: MD9TR6 A superior gasket to what you can typically buy in the UK. Cheers.
Dave McDonald
Tom, yes thanks. I bought one of those from TR Shop about a month ago to try on next engine build. Dave
