Don’t you just hate it when that happens

LOL:P

My first foray into Triumph ownership in the mid-70s was a Spitfire that Dad picked up at a wrecking yard. His eagle eyes spotted a freeze plug had failed, where the owner of the yard said it was a cracked block. Dad bought it for $50 and we hauled it away on a trailer. Spent most of a year restoring it, was a very sound and fun car to drive as a teenager for several years after that!

Bits of barseal or radweld should sort that out.

The middle two were that bad I could just push my finger through them!

Should have added a winking face. As it looks to be serious.

Hi Stuart,

do you have an explanation? Pure water from the tap without antifreeze?

Quite probably, there was a small amount of antifreeze in the water that came out but I suspect it wasnt enough percentage for quite some time.

Stuart.
