Out of interest, and self preservation,  as someone about to do their first hillclimb,  what was the tyre pressure and what should it have been?

If it’s in your TR4 it will be different anyway, but  I used to use 36 front 34 rear in mine. It stops the tyre rolling off the wheel.

Hi

it depends on so many things which tyres are one. Those on the video are specialist road rally tarmac tyres  and still too little pressure .

what your wheels are and particularly if they have the tyre bead ridge in the rim.
to a certain extent what hill and how fast the bendy bits are.

but for a standard set up micks advice to have higher pressures will be good.

Thanks for the replies.Using the escort as it has all of the equipment necessary for a slow time.....cage, firewall, strut brace, etc!

Trying Barbon, local track and it will all be over quite quickly as it is the shortest (?) in the country.
