Refer to Bobs excellent TR3 Engine and Gearbox build diary with many photos completed within the last 6 months and shown on this forum. But the simple answer is ...No. Bob carried out a pre build with photos checking out the clearances with 87mm liners in place...an easy clearance on all areas.
