leonnewman1
Just made a spontaneous order for some yellowstuff pads...... Does anybody have any experience or advice? Thanks
peejay4A
I’m afraid I won’t go near any ebc product. I used green stuff once and regretted it. And thereby I have probably violated one of the restrictions that the BoD would have us live by.

Does anybody have any experience or advice? Thanks I think you will find yellowstuff to be a bit too 'racy' unless you are doing a lot of track days & hard driving etc. If going for EBC then Greenstuff is probably OK for fast road use. My choice now would be Hawk pads.
leonnewman1
Ok well I will let you know how they go
Andy Moltu
For stuff read snot and you have a good idea what you are dealing with. Fast Road try Mintex 1144 or Hawk HP or HP+. The 1144 have more bite when cold than the HP+ but can fade more easily.
leonnewman1
tested the yellowstuff pads and I have to say that I am really impressed. Much improved breaking performance and feel (not sure what was on the car before) even from cold. Oh and no squeeeeeel.....yet
MadMarx
I've used Yellow Stuff for many years and liked them very much. Somehow this year the brake pads developed on both race cars trouble, starting with the TR4 that I wasn't able to slow down the car on the corners and with the TR8 that the friction material separated on several occasions from the backing plate. I've moved over to Pagid and it seems the problem is solved. More consistent, better performance, less pedal pressure is needed.
