Excellent progress Christian, revised rear axle ratio 3.08:1 ? and the handling of the car looked a major step forward although maybe a little loose on the slow corners ? What caused the 1st race retirement ?

Thank you Mick,

The rear axle is a 3.6 now.

So far the car is doing well on brakes and corner entry.

And you are right, I have problems to get the power down on corner exit.

I'm currently thinking what to do.

Tire temps and wear is excellent, not to say perfect.

The cause for parking the car was a broken bracket on the left rear suspension.

I followed Chris' link from his facebook page

     https://www.youtube....h?v=Gm1yqERQ5u0

and

    https://www.youtube....h?v=6Bq7oMiBQFw

If that does not work use the video id after the = sign and put into the search bar on youtube directly.

ie Gm1yqERQ5u0   and  6Bq7oMiBQFw

Chris - if you qualified 7th (finished 8th) - why did you have to start at the back of the grid ?

If things are going right, I'm going to Hockenheim again the coming on weekend.

It is a big meeting, with the DTM as main event, and I was invited to run with the DRM racing series:

https://www.youtube....h?v=5JpdnZt-5P4

So there are many big strong cars which my little TR8 is facing as competition.

At the moment the chances that I can enter the race is about 80%.
