I see it was relisted and the original bidding did not reach $20 000.

Its a shame really as the car looks pretty good to me.

I suspect the "Ideal candidate for restoration" may put people off, although I am sure it means the car is original enough that it warrants a little work to make original if you wanted.

Maybe the price reflects dealers trying to make a quick buck ,rather than enthusiasts?

I also think the "Extra spares" part may be worth a look as well. You never know what is lurking there.

Sadly, there seems to be little interest in driving and preserving largely original TR3s, few of which still exist.
