TomMull
It would seem quite promising in spite of the lack of pictures and narrative. Deserves a closer look IMO. No restoration; drive it like it is. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-Triumph-TR3-/332395870759?hash=item4d64567a27:g:iPQAAOSwsXhZzn2t&vxp=mtr Tom

foster461
That has to end up north of $20k surely.
TomMull
That has to end up north of $20k surely. Buy It Now at $26000 would support that but $7300 bid with four days to go? Perhaps I'll go to Alabama after all. Tom
irrational
I see it was relisted and the original bidding did not reach $20 000. Its a shame really as the car looks pretty good to me. I suspect the "Ideal candidate for restoration" may put people off, although I am sure it means the car is original enough that it warrants a little work to make original if you wanted. Maybe the price reflects dealers trying to make a quick buck ,rather than enthusiasts? I also think the "Extra spares" part may be worth a look as well. You never know what is lurking there. TomMull
Sadly, there seems to be little interest in driving and preserving largely original TR3s, few of which still exist. Tom
