RogerH
Hi Richard, on the 4/4A the engine bay bulkhead pipes are in rubber or silicon. The silicon ones will last forever (nearly). The internal shorter pipes appear to be only available in rubber but usually last a very long time. Roger PS - TR6 is the same Edited October 2, 2016 by RogerH

iain
No unfortunately not all hoses are the same. Silicone, Rubber and rubber.....yes some Rubber hoses are much better than other rubber hoses. Some actually contain a high level of Rubber.:-) If your rubber hoses make your hands black when not very old..........buy some new ones.:-) Iain
Nigel Triumph
Had the same problem with modern Kevlar hoses, most recently on my scimitar. Silicone hoses fitted on my TR6 and GT6 ten years ago still look like new. Silicone is the fit and forget option. Nigel
