Peter Cobbold
I am down to just one ignition/steering lock key. Who makes new keys, and how do I go about getting the pattern to them? Peter Edited July 19, 2015 by Peter Cobbold
Dave Smith
Peter I have a CR with steering lock. I went to my local Timpson, who were very helpful, he actually had an old catelogue of car keys, found the blank required and ordered it for me. David
Steves_TR6
Similar story for me, went to the local key shop/dry cleaner. Didn't have blanks but ordered a couple for me, fit perfectly. Steve
Peter Cobbold
David, Steve, Great ! thank you - there's a Timpson 40min away. I'll ring them in the morning. Peter
Steves_TR6
If no luck I can check if my local place bought any spares!
ijonsson
If you have your key number you can get your new key in a letter even. http://www.triple-c.com/Original_Wilmot_Breedon_Keys.cfm Edited July 19, 2015 by ijonsson

Davidwyard
Hi, Peter If you have a local hardware store try them for keys!!! I purchased a TR6 last weekend with only one sett of keys, pop into my local hardware store( fortunately the shop I own) and managed to cut two new sets, as we had some old stock, well worth a visit. Good luck
Peter Cobbold
Thanks David, I found that Timpsons in Mold 40 min away could do them, although the steering lock/ig key needed blanks ordering. 'Local' is a relative term out here... nearest pump with 97 RON is also in Mold Peter
rcritchley
Hi Folks Don't forget the car shows. I had an ignition key cut at the International on Saturday - and it works! Also I have purchased "off the shelf" from a stall at, I believe, the NEC. Roger
