The blurb reads very well and I would appreciate a users experience before I bought. Many thanks, Alan Edited April 10, 2015 by barkerwilliams
peejay4A
I tried some thermal tubes on my injector pipes a long time ago. It made no difference and looked rubbish.
snowric
I used Zircotec's heat shield products (zircoflex) to good effect in a boot floor to stop carpet/ contents overheating. They do the ceramic coatings for exhausts. snowy

TR 2100
On my TR4, with 4-branch and tuned engine, the brake stop light switch is inevitable very close to the very hot downpipes leading to seizing/failure of the switch. A short length of this tubing around the switch has proved very effective in preventing this. Then again, it could always be a faulty brake light switch, and I know there was a batch of suspect switches. Not many other places I can think of where it would be useful, but does have its uses. Dave Larnder
Alan One of the reasons why I wrapped my s/s. 4 branch banana on my TR3A was because of that switch among other more important reasons, better heat flow away from the engine and the engine bay and floor boards. It does work, because the one rear over-rider is usually discoloured like a motor bikes exhaust pipe at least straw coloured but coming back from Italy last year, it went pale blue. I used two rolls of tape from Moss and painted it after wrapping in heat resistant silver paint. Dave
